HRC Services for schools
Who can we help?
For more than a decade, we have assisted thousands of fresh hospitality student graduates with a first step abroad. HRC International can assist schools with the following placements:
  • Internship program: available in the USA and only for a period of 12 months. Students will get working experience in different departments of the hotel.
  • Career USA Programs: available for fresh graduates for 12 months. Graduates will experience working in different departments and get their first experience in a supervisory position.
  • Management USA Programs: available for school alumni for 18 months. These programs are perfect for ambitious talents who have already 2 – 3 years of management experience in the Hospitality Industry.
  • WorldWide placements: available for fresh graduates and alumni from your school. The WorldWide positions are permanent positions

The requirements for students, fresh graduates and school alumni going to the USA with HRC International are the following:

  • Must be a recent student or graduate from a hospitality school outside the USA
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must have a minimum of 6 months relevant work experience in the hospitality industry
  • Must not currently be working and living in the US (or have recently returned) or holding a permit, such as a J-1 Exchange visitor visa.
  • May not already have US citizenship: our placements are offered to graduates of international hotel schools with international work experience. Due to the “exchange” character of our placements, we cannot assist American citizens with placement in the U.S. However, we do offer culinary opportunities for American Chefs in Europe due to the reciprocal component of our activities.

Career USA

Why a career in the U.S.? Because, in many ways, the U.S. sets the standard for the hospitality industry around the world. Major leading hotel groups have originated in the US, such as Hilton, Marriott and Hyatt. Students will be exposed to fast-paced, diverse and demanding environments that will prepare them for anything and everything. Our signature Internship and Career USA programs allow participants to gain experience in different departments of their choice. Together with an HRC career consultant, a suitable program will be selected and, based on his or her career preferences and working experience, a participant may decide to work in Rooms Division, Food & Beverage or Culinary Arts.  Most USA placements offer a rotation through various departments. In rooms division for example, the program may offer exposure to front office, guest services, and housekeeping. Food & Beverage placements offer experience in Banquets, Restaurants, Bar and Room Service. The Culinary placements offer the opportunity to work in various kitchen areas of top hotels or fine dining restaurants

Opportunities WorldWide

Our WorldWide placements offer a variety of job opportunities at exciting locations around the world. Again our aim is to offer opportunities at some of the finest hotels and resorts to help your students and alumni get ahead in their careers. WorldWide positions are available for young professionals and we have a big network all around the world, from the Caribbean to Asia, from Europe to the Middle East.
