For the 28th consecutive time, the city of Maastricht will host the annual “Preuvenemint”. This exquisite culinary event will take place on the Vrijthof square in the city center of Maastricht and will take place from the 27th to the 30th of August. The magnificent square is transformed into a culinary Walhalla.
Originally launched as a small-scale anniversary celebration for a café on the Vrijthof, it has grown into a full-blown four-day gastronomic event. Over 40 restaurants, cafes and other fine food related companies will sample exclusive and delicious food and wines at their stands. Thousands of gourmets gather here to enjoy oysters, champagne, and some of Maastricht’s authentic regional delicacies.
You will be entertained with a large variety of live music!
The word Preuvenemint is a contraction of the Maastricht words 'preuve' (to taste) and 'evenemint' (event). And that is the goal of the event: to meet each other for a bite and drinks and enjoy the good things in life!
HRC would like to meet you for drinks at the stand of Amphitryon (nr. 29) on Saturday the 29th of August. We will be there as from 17.00! You don’t have to pay any entrance fee for the event; so let yourself be surprised and spoiled by top chefs, who know exactly how to serve Maastricht’s specialties at their best.
