Immerse yourself in a diverse career journey as you rotate through the positions of Front Desk Agent, Reservations Agent, and Front Desk Supervisor at our Hilton Hotel. Situated just outside the lively downtown New Orleans, it offers the perfect location to cater to all preferences, whether you desire the vibrant downtown atmosphere or the serenity of a suburban setting.

On your days off, dive into the city's rich history by exploring captivating museums like the Voodoo Museum or the National WWII Museum. Take pleasure in a visit to the Audubon Butterfly Garden and Insectarium, meander through the enchanting French Quarter, or embark on a leisurely city tour to uncover its many delightful charms.

Salary: $13.00 per hour

Free meals are provided in the employee break room.

Vacation time is accrued. Anywhere from 3-12 months, 40 hrs of vacation time can be accrued.

Transportation from the airport is provided via the hotel's airport shuttle.

Up to 30 days complimentary room and tax on property is provided.

While housing is not provided, we do recommend the two apartment complexes: Sugar Mill West ($830 - $2,300) & Cherrywood ($910 - $1,700).

Eligibility criteria for our Career USA programs:

- You are enrolled in a post secondary ministerially recognized academic institution in the hospitality industry OR have a hospitality degree and at least 1 year of recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside of the USA) OR have 5 years recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside the USA)

- You have shown consistent career growth over the last years

- You have shown serious commitment to your most recent employers

New Orleans was an early haven for free people of color, and New Orleans' resilience, can-do attitude, and populist self-reliance have been pillars of its city life hundreds of years before the Industrial Revolution. Housing: You can find a 1-bedroom unfurnished apartment in the city for around $1100+ per month. The closer to the city center, the more expensive they will be. With no established credit, you can expect to pay the first and last month’s rent as a deposit for an apartment. HRC recommends you bring $3,000+ as startup capital upon arrival.
