After 18 months working in Miami as a Food and Beverage Assistant Manager, I feel proud and blessed.
I have learnt so many things working and living in the US. Miami is an international city with a Latin culture. I was lucky to live in a very nice apartment with a pool and a gym in the building! I would never find such a nice place back in Paris. Travelling in Florida is awesome: the Keys, Universal Orlando, West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, I truly enjoyed living here!
Working at the Mandarin was a great adventure. After the first weeks adapting myself to a new country and culture and being trained, I finally found my place with my colleagues and my team. I was very proud to win the Manager of the Quarter in 2019. I have learnt a lot in terms of management, organization, finance. Working abroad helps to open our minds, meet colleagues from everywhere, find another way to work!
I came in Miami with my boyfriend, we met friends here and had a lot of visits from friends and family! We had the opportunity to travel and discover the continent! Colombia, Boston, Montréal, New Orleans... I cannot decide which destination I enjoyed the most!
