Your phases of training are learned concurrently based off your strength while starting your training. As a J1 manager you will learn all 3 phases over the course of the 18 months.
The hotel will provide up to 2 weeks of accommodations with complimentary room and tax. The hotel will provide airport pick up from Miami International Airport.
As a Manager, you are required to bring your own suits and you are exempt from overtime pay since you are paid salary.
After 1 year of service, you will accrue 80 hours of vacation.
An employee meal is provided per shift worked.
The J1 candidate must have a international drivers license and be willing to purchase a car.
Housing & Transportation:
If you live downtown you won't need to purchase a car; you can buy a bike or moped (if wanted) or walk across on the beautiful bridge to get to the hotel. If you want to FL state drivers license, it would be best if you already have an international drivers license.
Housing near Brickell Key for students starts at $1,900 for a two bedroom with no utilities and comes unfurnished. With a shared place to live you will cut down your housing expense in half. Keep in mind you'd still need to set up your own utilities; power, water, gas, internet for a cost. We recommend you bring at least $3000 and more if you want to get a car or moped but a bike will suffice in Miami.
