A two bedroom unfurnished apartment will start at $3000. Keep in mind you will need to bring at least $3000 for start up capital to put down a deposit and first month rent. Transportation: Depending on how far you live from the property will determine if you need to purchase a car, moped or a bike.

If you want to purchase a car, you will need to have your international drivers license and be willing to bring additional funds to purchase a car Due to limited local transportation, it is best for you to purchase a car or moped upon your arrival to get around. You will need your international driver’s license so you can purchase a car or moped to purchase, then you can live further outside the city center to cut down on costs. You will need to also insure your car/moped monthly. We advise you to bring additional $3000 for this option.

The best airport to fly into is John Wayne Airport Orange County (SNA) which is 25 miles away.

Climate:
Laguna’s mild climate provides for year-round accessibility with annual daytime temperatures ranging between the mid-'60s in the winter months and the low-'80s in the summer months, although the temps can drop slightly in the evening, warranting an extra layer. December is typically the coolest month while August is the warmest. January, February and March typically receive the most rainfall, with an average of 2.5 inches. The casual weather of Laguna Beach can easily be conquered by always packing a thin layer of clothing.
