Upon arrival at the airport, please take an uber or taxi to the hotel. The hotel will provide up to 14 days of accommodations on-site. All other expenses are your responsibility.

No paid time off is offered during the 12 months.

2 weeks of housing are offered upon arrival.

It is customary in the US to work in “gratuity” positions. In these positions, you will receive a base hourly salary plus gratuity (tips). While the amount of a gratuity is ultimately at the discretion of the guest, the customary tip is 15- 20% of the total bill before tax. Based on history, you may expect to earn around $19.50 per hour in the server rotation.

Eligibility criteria for our Career USA programs: - you are enrolled in a post-secondary ministerially recognized academic institution in the hospitality industry OR - you have a hospitality degree and at least 1 year of recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside of the USA) OR - you have 5 years recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside the USA) - you have shown consistent career growth over the last years - you have shown serious commitment to your most recent employers.

Greenville is a city in South Carolina. It’s home to the Greenville County Museum of Art, with works by Southern artists spanning several centuries. Exhibits at the Upcountry History Museum tell the story of upstate South Carolina. Falls Park on the Reedy has riverside gardens, a suspension bridge, and waterfall views. Multi-use trails wind around lakes and hills in Paris Mountain State Park, north of the city.

Climate:
In Greenville, the summers are hot and muggy, the winters are cold, and it is wet and partly cloudy year-round. Over the course of the year, the temperature typically varies from 34°F to 89°F and is rarely below 22°F or above 96°F.

Housing:
The average rent in Greenville is around $1,370.

Transportation:
The public bus system, Greenlink, operates 11 fixed routes across Greenville County. Single fares cost $1.50; fare boxes on the buses accept cash only. Day passes are available for $5.

Taxi service in Greenville is limited and you'll need to call for a ride around town, but rideshare services like Lyft and Uber are available. Car services are also available for longer trips or airport transportation.
