Upscale steakhouse in the heart of San Francisco is seeking a culinary cook to train and rotate throughout the kitchen to include Garde Manger, Entremetier, Fish, Hotline and then finally becoming Chef de partie!

Train under the Executive Chef who has exceptional knowledge and strong leadership skills at various Michelin-rated restaurants including Joel Robuchon Restaurant at the MGM Grand Las Vegas and Aureole in New York. The Executive Chef studied Culinary Arts in Italy before joining the French Culinary Institute in New York Cit.

Placement Remarks

Housing in San Francisco is very expensive and it is recommended that you start reviewing housing in the area prior to your arrival. The average one bedroom apartment starts around $3000 per month, unfurnished, not including utilities. Keep in mind without any credit it the USA you will need to pay first and last month rent as a deposit. It is advised as a J-1 exchange visitor that you look into options of sharing housing with other locals and/or J-1 exchange visitors. By doing so, you can reduce the costs per month to around $1500.
