$16.00 per hour

No Housing is offered. You must secure your housing on own or via roommate option prior to your arrival. There is a bus station near the employer for you to use.

Benefits: We offer a chef coat, apron, and hat. Only requirement from employee is to bring their own non-skid kitchen shoes and chef tools.

You don't need a car, local transportation is in the city limits and the employer will assist you with this upon your arrival. Though no housing offered, the shop has recommended a few apartments nearby and on the bus line!

Keep in mind without any credit it the USA you will need to pay first and last month rent as a deposit. By doing so, you can reduce the costs per month to around $1000; however the costs can also be reduced if you are willing to live outside the city and take public transportation. There are 3 buses that travel downtown Mountain View, 34, 35, 52 ( the stop is directly located outside the Patisserie) and bus 22 travels up and down El Camino. (bus stop is located on the corner of El Camino and Castro.

Transportation:
Mountain View is a very walking-friendly community, so getting around by either foot or bike should be easy. That being said, traveling around beyond Mountain View could prove challenging. For instance, San Francisco is a very hilly city, so walking can be a bit challenging if you are not using public transportation. That being said, it is entirely possible to walk around the city and get around completely fine.
