Demi Chef program at 5 star hotel on the Beach!

Beautiful 5 star hotel on the beach is seeking a candidate to rotate between Garde Manger, Banquets Demi Chef, and Hot Line Demi Chef!

Bring your skills to sunny Florida and experience all that Sunny Isles Beach has to offer!

$20 Per Hour

During your training you will receive one staff meal per shift for free.

The hotel will provide up to up 5 days upon your arrival for accommodations for free room and tax. You must secure housing on your own.

Transportation to the hotel is your own responsibility.

Paid Time Off (PTO): Our present policy provides up to ten (10) PTO days within your first year of employment, up to sixteen (16) PTO days after one (1) year of continuous employment. Additionally, you are eligible to receive seven (7) paid holidays. This benefit is subject to details provided in our Property PTO Policy.

Eligibility criteria for our Career USA programs:

- You are enrolled in a post secondary ministerially recognized academic institution in the hospitality industry OR have a hospitality degree and at least 1 year of recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside of the USA) OR have 5 years recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside the USA)

- You have shown consistent career growth over the last years

- You have shown serious commitment to your most recent employers

Transportation: You can get around via bike or by purchasing a car. If a vehicle is purchased insurance will also need to be purchased, which you can expect to spend around $150 per month on. HRC recommends you bring an additional $2,500 to help secure a vehicle if desired.

Housing: You can find a one bedroom apartment unfurnished in Miami for just under $1300, so apartments in Miami are fairly average price-wise. Below is a list of helpful websites that could help expedite your housing search! To cut down on costs, we also recommend sharing an apartment with another j1 or local American. Please note, without established credit your first and last month’s rent may be required as a deposit. HRC recommends you arrive with at least $2,500 as startup capital and to help secure housing.
