Enhance your US cooking skills as a demi cook at this 4 star resort!

Join an international team in this luxurious 4 star resort modeled after an English Village centered around a historic estate and gardens. You'll go through the Restaurants and Banquets as a demi chef before experiencing supervisor responsibilities as a chef de partie!

Experience and enjoy the Blue Ridge Mountains in scenic North Georgia. On your off time, enjoy whitewater rafting, hiking, canoeing, take a short ride to Atlanta or a weekend trip to the beach in Florida or South East Georgia!

Uniform and one meal per shift will be provided.

Student housing is available at the cost of $200 a month for housing and a $200 deposit. Deposit may be refunded, if there is no damage to the staff housing. Deducted from payroll.

PTO accrues at 1.5 hours per bi-weekly paycheck after 60 days.

Try to arrive between Monday and Friday around the times of 11:00 am and 2:00 pm to avoid the Atlanta rush hour!

The employer will pay out a $500 sign-on bonus upon their arrival to the USA.

It is the candidate's responsibility to clean their staff housing. Report any maintained repairs to the DHR immediately

The Barnsley Resort is located in the small town of Adairsville, Georgia. A far cry from the traffic and noise of Atlanta, Georgia, Adairsville is, if nothing else, quaint. With a historic downtown district, Adairsville is certainly welcoming to guests of all kinds and acts as a beautiful gateway to the mountains in the north. Adairsville is perfect for anyone who is looking to escape the stress and noise of the city and enjoy peace in the countryside.

Transportation: The housing provided by The Barnsley is within walking distance of where the candidates would be training. That being said, if candidates would like to get around the area outside of The Barnsley they will likely need either their own vehicle or they will need to share a vehicle with another candidate. The average cost of a used car is around $400 per month, not including an average $100 or so cost for insurance coverage of the car.
