Sign on bonus is $250 at 30 days and $250 at 60 days.
The hotel will provide up to 14 days of accommodations based on the candidate's arrival and the hotel's occupancy. The J-1 will need to take a cab or uber from the airport to the hotel which may cost approximately $25.
The hotel will provide you with a discount bus pass that will be deducted from your pay check once a month. The deductions range from $16.00-45.00 depending on the type of monthly pass selected.
Employee meals in the employee café are free. Uniforms will be provided upon your arrival. Bring your own non-slip shoes and you own knives.

Austin is a college town with plenty of apartment options. Average cost in Austin area is $780 - $1,300/ month. You can greatly reduce the cost by looking for a roommate. Please note, without established credit your first and last month’s rent may be required as a deposit. HRC recommends you arrive with at least $2,500 as startup capital and to help secure housing.
Austin has a reliable bus and train service, Capital Metro, where a monthly pass can be purchased for around $45. Austin is also a bike-friendly city with established bike and car share programs decreasing the need for a personal vehicle while staying in the city.
