Transportation: Chicago is a fairly walkable city, and if something is too far to walk, they have a reliable public rail system called the ‘L’. As there is ready public transportation in Chicago, we do not believe that a car is needed in this city.

Housing: Housing options in Chicago are extremely varied in price. You can find Studio apartments as low as $700 per month, though there are of course more expensive options the closer you are to the heart of the city, and the larger the apartment. If you would like to go with one of these options it is recommended that you find a roommate to split the costs with. Here are some resources to help you begin your apartment search: apartments.com, zillow.com, apartmentguide.com, trulia.com, forrent.com, hotpads.com, and nestpick.com.
