F&B Rate of pay:
Server: $6.00/hr +tips (Ave. $53/hr) Host $15.00/hr +tips F&B Supervisor: $22/hr
Staff housing will be a condo in Park City with 3 bedrooms, each room with have double occupancy, fully furnished. Cost to the J1 is $500 per month including utilities and their is a free bus transportation to and from the hotel.
A uniform is offered. Please bring your own Dark blue jeans that will be necessary for anyone whose uniform does not include pants.
Complimentary meal per shift worked.
After 90 days of employment, you will start to accrue PTO up to 10 days per year.
It is best that you fly to Salt Lake International airport. No pick-up is provided. You can take a taxi or an Uber to the property.
Public Transportation is free in Park City. If candidates choose to live outside of Park City, other transportation is advised.
Check out the places to visit around the resort here, together with the weather. It is recommended to have start up funds of at least $3000 or more with you in the first month. Remember to consider the cost of purchasing a vehicle and insurance, thus you will need additional funds for this. On average, a J-1 participant can expect to pay upwards of $150.00 per month in vehicle insurance.
There will be two options for housing based on first come first serve. The hotel will provide shared/double occupancy, 2 rooms for 4 people in the hotel. There will not be a full kitchen but candidates will have access to employee dining. The other location is in town on the free bus route, 3 bedrooms with 2 per room. Everything is fully furnished. Housing costs will be between $475-650 per month depending on location/size.
