Fort Lauderdale has a tropical climate with hot summers and mild winters. June-September are the hottest months with temperature reaching 90F (32C) while December-February are the coldest with temperatures closer to 60F (16C). Fort Lauderdale also has a fair share of rain especially during hurricane season (June-November) when tropical storms are likely.
