Housing:

Housing in Fort Lauderdale can be expensive with a one bedroom apartment downtown starting around $1,700. Apartments will can cost more or less depending on proximity to downtown. Please note, without established credit a deposit of first and last month’s rent may be required. HRC recommends you begin looking for housing as soon as you are able and bring at least $3,500 to help secure housing.

Fort Lauderdale has a tropical climate with hot summers and mild winters.
