The American Southwest is calling at DoubleTree Tucson Downtown Convention Center. Strengthen your resume by rotating through the rooms department at the reception front desk and in guest services. If you want to build a career in reception this might be the perfect program for you! There are plenty of events to do and experience on your free time. Explore the vast national parks throughout the state! There is a convention center attached to the hotel, so there will be new guests and experiences every day!
Placement Remarks
$1000 sign on bonus after 6 months
Uniform will be offered
Free meal offered per shift and to be taken in the employee break room.
After 12 months of service the employee will have accrued 40 hours of vacation time (payable at end of year if employees leaves) and 40 hours of Sick time accrued at 1 hour per 30 hours worked and eligible to be used after 90 days of employment.
Hotel will provide airport pick up at Tucson International Airport.
Hotel will provide 21 days of complimentary room and tax.
Public transportation is available and Tucson is a very bicycle friendly city.

Housing:
Housing in Tucson can be fairly affordable with studio apartments beginning around $500 per month unfurnished, but can be more depending on the area. Please note, with no established credit a deposit of the first and last month’s rent may be required. HRC recommends you bring at least $2,000 as start up capital and to secure housing.

Transportation:
If living within the city limits, Tucson has a bus service called the Sun Tran as well as Sun Link streetcars that operates throughout the city. Routes and fares can be found on their website. If outside the city limits a car may be needed for travel. If a vehicle is purchased, insurance will also be needed and will cost around $150 per month. If purchasing a vehicle, HRC recommends you bring an additional $3,000 to help secure a vehicle and insurance.
