Housing:
The cost of living in NYC is extremely high. You should prepare to bring at least $3000 for housing, you may be expected to pay a security deposit for a room to rent or to rent an apartment. The closer you live near Times Square or Central Park the more expensive your rent will be. We highly recommend looking for another J1 to room with to share the cost of an apartment.
