Duties & Responsibilities
- Warm and professional care and advice for our guests
- Independent and responsible management of a station including debt collection
- Compliance with our corporate standards
- Mise en place for gastronomic operations
- Consideration of the culinary skills of the Althoff Hotels and ensuring that the individual concept of the restaurant can be experienced
- Support of the restaurant manager in the implementation of the economic goals set for the department
- Regular cleaning activities and compliance with hygiene regulations
- Very good knowledge of the F&B and wine offer
- Supporting the restaurant manager in the induction and training of young talents, interns and new employees

- Accomodation: we do have several accomodation buildings in the vincinity of up to 10km which cost around 250-350€/month, mobility is a little bit of an issue as busses are running but not allday long and only with reduced services on weekends, so ideally we hire people with drivers licence / cars; they are reachable by bike however as we will have several weeks of snow in the winter season this is no all-year solution; many ccolleagues share rides but on a private basis; unfortunately there is no internet provided so each tennant has to arrange an individual contract with the phone company, however there are washing facilities in the buildings and either kitchenettes in the apartments or communal kitchen areas in some of the houses
- A salary rate of around €2500 - €3000 NET (no sales commision)
- Food free of charge in staff cafeteria 7 days a week
- Chefs bring their own uniform, he only provides aprons and touchons but all is cleaned by the company
- Service get full uniform (w/o shoes) and get it all cleaned by the hotel
- Tips in the 3* restaurant are good with an average of 300-400€/month and up to 800€ in high season for service AND chefs
- Free German courses for good people
Requirements
- Relevant operational experience in upscale hotels and restaurants
- Professional appearance, good manners and a well-groomed appearance
- Very good F&B competence
- Experience working with POS systems
- Organizational talent and creativity
- Hosts with heart and mind
- Very good knowledge of German and English, another foreign language desired
