Sous Chef wanted for luxury DC Hotel!
This luxury Ritz Carlton Washington DC hotel is seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef with proven management skills to lead a team and learn from the best.
During your days off explore all that DC has to offer to not forget the free museums, enjoy the Cherry Blossom Festival, visit the White House or take the train to NYC or Boston!
Your training will take place in the kitchen; Bar/Lounge, IRD, and Banquets. The Restaurant is permanently closed.
A complimentary meal per shift is offered.
PTO plan includes 7 sick days and 14 vacation days after one year.
You will need to bring your own knives and non-slip shoes.
The hotel can accommodate you with 14 days of complimentary room and taxes based on occupancy and preferred before early March start date. Any other expenses are on your own.
The D.C. area is home to a tremendous number of cultural activities to do, especially with regard to history, both nationally and worldwide! World-famous for its historical monuments and cultural landmarks, there are very few cities in The United States that compare in terms of the number of iconic places to see! You can visit the Lincoln Memorial, The White House, and other attractions.
Depending on the location of your housing, a car may not be necessary while living in D.C, where the metro access is quite convenient making travel around the city fairly easy. It is recommended that you get metro passes as soon as you can. It is also an option to live outside the city where the cost of living will be a bit less expensive.
