Seeking a talented and professional Food & Beverage personal to train at this 4 star boutique and elegant hotel in the heart of Alexandrian lined with cobble streets and sophisticated shops and restaurants.
On your days off explore Washington DC by train and visit The White House or the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History.
Placement Remarks
Rate of pay as a Restaurant Server $2.77 plus tips, Banquet Server $6.25 per hour with a service charge % as a Front Desk Agent $15.00 per hour and Housekeeping Supervisor your rate of pay is $17.00 per hour.
It is customary in the US to work in “gratuity” positions. In these positions, you will receive a base hourly salary plus gratuity (tips). While the amount of a gratuity is ultimately at the discretion of the guest, the customary tip is 15-20% of the total bill before tax. Based on history, you may expect to earn around $20.00 per hour”.
Candidate must bring their own uniforms, black jacket, white shirts, pants , comfy black shoes / pumps.No meal provided but you can bring your own snack or lunch/dinner into work to have on your break.
Complimentary 2 weeks housing on site provided. Airport pick up not provided.

Transportation:
Depending on the location of your housing, a car may not be necessary while living in D.C. The D.C. metro access across the D.C. area is quite convenient making travel around the city fairly easy. It is recommended that you get metro passes as soon as you can once in D.C. Also, it is important to note that the D.C. metro uses a sliding scale system regarding the cost of their metro, meaning that the further you travel on the metro the more expensive the trip will be. That means it is especially important to consider the location of your housing compared to where the hotel is. If you live near the hotel you can walk or get a bike. Or you can use DASH.
Housing in Washington, D.C. can be rented monthly for reasonable rates, and can be as low as $900 if shared with another individual. However, this is all dependent on the area in which the candidate decides to live.
