Start off as a reception agent before training as a supervisor in housekeeping and reception! This program will not last long. It's a 5 star resort in a beautiful part of the country, offering essential training, what more could you want? Short drive to San Francisco and the beach !

Rate of Pay - $20.00/hour
Benefits:
We are business casual – solid, dark wash jeans without holes, collared shirt or blouse, jacket, bring your own.
One complimentary meal per shift.
Vacation/PTO will begin to accrue from the start of the program. After 90 days of employment, there are eligible for for up to 3 weeks in PTO/Vacation time.
The hotel will provide up to 14 days of accommodations bases on occupancy. Please reach out to HR to coordinate.
There is no reliable transportation. Therefore, you will need to purchase a car or moped upon your arrival. You should be prepared to bring at least $2000 for a used car. You will also need to have a driver’s license before you arrive; otherwise, to take the California Drivers Test, will take at least 8 weeks to complete.

Housing: The average 1-bedroom apartment in Napa, California costs around $2,000/month. Home-sharing is recommended to help lower the cost of their monthly housing (roomies). Please note, that without established credit, your first and last month’s rent may be required as a deposit. HRC recommends you arrive with $5,000+ as startup capital and to help secure housing. Transportation: Traveling around Napa Valley can be a challenge depending on where you are living. You may need a car during your time here. Remember to consider the cost of purchasing a vehicle and vehicle insurance. On average, a J-1 participant can expect to pay upwards of $400 on a used car payment per month and $150.00 per month for vehicle insurance. That being said, there is a modest bus system that goes around Napa called The VINE.
