The hotel is looking for a positive and outgoing person who can excel at meeting their guests needs. While living in your new city don't forget to catch a baseball game, visit the White House, and go to the National Mall. HRC's Career USA Program offers Hospitality internships, traineeships, J-1 visa training, management positions, and hotel jobs in the United States. This training gives you international work experience in the U.S. that you can use abroad. We have placements opportunities all over America such as New York, Miami, San Francisco, San Diego, Los Angeles and more!
Average hours trained will be between 40-50 hours per week; hours may increase more or less from the average during certain time periods.
The J1 will need to bring your own suits.
Complimentary meals are provided in the employee cafeteria for lunch and dinner only. The Hotel will provide two weeks of accommodations based on occupancy. Upon arrival into Ronald Reagan National Airport you can take the hotel shuttle or a taxi to the hotel.
Paid time off (PTO): If the team member trains at 40 hour per week, they should earn approximately 112 hours of PTO after 1 year.
Vacation and sick days are offered after 90 days employed.
