Discover Europe combining work and play. HRC now offers work and holiday programs in Germany, the Netherlands and the UK, depending on your nationality.
HRC partners with some of the finest hotels and gourmet restaurants in the UK and on the European continent, to include Four Seasons, Waldorf=Astoria and astonishing Chateau hotels.
Experience day to day life beyond the tourist zones, make friends with the locals and gain deeper insight into the food and culture. It’s a fantastic way to travel, improve your English and at the same time improve your cooking skills and knowledge.
In addition, HRC will organize cool events and professional outings such as visiting local producers or (demo chef) workshops, so you can enhance your knowledge of the culinary side of your host country.

Who can we help?
- You are a culinary graduate, or you have several years of work experience in the kitchen
- You are between 18 and 30 years old
- You are a resident from Europe or one of the following countries: Argentina, Australia, Canada, Chile, New Zealand, South Korea, Taiwan or Uruguay
- You have a positive attitude, you are eager to learn and you have a passion for cooking and meeting new cultures and people
- You feel comfortable speaking basic English
Salary will vary by city and depend upon your skills and experience. Generally speaking, you can expect to earn between €1,500 and €2,200 euros per month!
We keep the process for growing your career simple and straightforward. Most importantly, we keep it personal. From coordinating your visa and insurance to establishing your local network, help with housing and preparing for your new position.
The entire application from first introduction call to your start date can be as short as 6 weeks; the shortest time-frame in the industry!
€100 euro registration fee
Program fee of €475 euro to be paid upfront. *In the Netherlands you will need to pay a mandatory national health insurance fee of approx. €100 euro.
For the duration of your stay in Europe, you pay only €95 euro per month. This includes your health insurance and all the support you need!
You will pay the visa fee directly to your local embassy and this will cost you between €50 and €75 euro.
