Luxury Hotel Seeking Assistant Housekeeping Manager!

A dynamic hotel in Bethesda, Maryland, is in search of an Assistant Housekeeping Manager to undergo training in Operations, Management, and Financial responsibilities.

Rate of Pay: $50,000 per year, based on 50 hours per week.

Employer will provide uniform
After 90 days of employment, you will accrue sick time and will be eligible for holiday pay.

Eligibility criteria for our Career USA programs:

- You are enrolled in a post secondary ministerially recognized academic institution in the hospitality industry OR have a hospitality degree and at least 1 year of recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside of the USA) OR have 5 years recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside the USA)

- You have shown consistent career growth over the last years

- You have shown serious commitment to your most recent employers

Candidates should consider purchasing the car either individually or shared with other j-1s. If you will need to purchase a vehicle, HRC suggests that you bring an additional $3000- $5000 to accommodate the costs associated with purchasing a reliable vehicle ($1000-$3000) vehicle, vehicle insurance $300-$500/year, monthly gas and maintenance @$150). Vehicles in the state of Maryland are required to be insured. By having a vehicle, you can have the option to live outside the city where the cost of living will be a bit less expensive.
