On your time off visit New York City: In New York City, immerse yourself in the vibrant energy of Times Square, where dazzling lights, Broadway shows, and bustling crowds create an unforgettable experience. Explore the iconic landmarks of Central Park, from leisurely strolls through lush greenery to boating on the serene waters of the park's lakes. Indulge in world-class cuisine from diverse cultures, whether it's sampling gourmet street food in Chelsea Market or dining at Michelin-starred restaurants in the culinary mecca of Manhattan.

You can explore the natural beauty of Harriman State Park, offering hiking trails, scenic picnic spots, and breathtaking views of lakes and mountains. Visit the historic Hopper House Art Center to admire exhibitions celebrating the legacy of renowned American artist Edward Hopper. For family-friendly fun, head to Palisades Center, one of the largest malls in the United States, featuring an array of shops, restaurants, entertainment options, and an indoor amusement park.

Benefits:

Server: $10 per hour + tips, Other Positions: $15.45

Employees should have black or dark blue jeans, white button down shirt or blouse, shoes and belt must match. Shoes must be black or brown with non-slip soles.

Breakfast is included after guests breakfast buffet is closed for the day.

Employees will not accrue PTO, but will have the opportunity to take more unpaid leave if needed.

Hotel can provide up to 14 days of complimentary room and tax on property upon arrival.

Eligibility criteria for our Career USA programs:

•⁠ ⁠You are enrolled in a post secondary ministerially recognized academic institution in the hospitality industry OR have a hospitality degree and at least 1 year of recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside of the USA) OR have 5 years recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside the USA)

•⁠ ⁠You have shown serious commitment to your most recent employers

Housing: The cost of living in NYC is extremely high with studio apartments costing around $2,400. The closer you live to Times Square or Central Park the more expensive your rent will be. Sharing housing is recommended. Please note, that without established credit, your first and last month’s rent may be required as a deposit. We recommend you arrive with at least $3,000 as startup capital and to help secure housing.
